I’ve actually done a pretty good job of not buying more books this month, and I don’t think I’ve added many to by Goodreads list, so it feels like the perfect time to get rid of a few books from my list. I’m starting my internship in a few weeks too, so I don’t think I’ll have much time to read, which means sticking to the books I really want to get through!

Lia at Lost In A Story started this weekly post to trim down the Goodreads to-read list.

The rules are simple:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

READING LISTS: 10 Books I’d Like to Re-read

DSC_0655If you know my, you’ll know I very rarely re-read anything. I have a trusty copy of The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky that I open every now and again when I’m looking for comfort and Conversations with the Fat Girl by Liza Palmer when I need a boost, but other than that once I pick up a book I very rarely read it again. I’m not sure it its because I feel so far behind a lot of the time, I don’t always read books when they come out, or whether it’s just that once I’ve closed the cover I don’t feel the need to pick it up again, but re-reading is one of those things I very rarely do, like going to the gym and eating low-fat yogurt.
