The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Hello, hello. I’m back again to do another WWW Wednesday post. Hurray. I’m also graduating tomorrow. So I will officially be a Master of Art, which sounds way cooler than it probably is. I feel like I should be able to do some cool magical trick, or be an expert. I’m not, but if I was, I promise I would use my power for good. Like correcting all the signs with errant apostrophes.
So reading! I’ve been doing a lot of manuscript reading because of my internship, so I haven’t always had much time to read for my own pleasure. And then I did the other day and it was another manuscript, which doesn’t really help matters.
What are you currently reading?
I’m reading Joe Dunthorne’s Wild Abandon. I’ve decided I like it purely because my hometown is mentioned, and as a Welsh person that makes my pride flare up. But even if it wasn’t mentioned, I think I’d enjoy this book. It’s so different from Submarine but it still has that natural humour to it. I’m looking forward to finishing it.
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished H is for Hawk last week. It’s a really beautiful book. I had so many people come up to me in the office and say ‘That’s such a great book.’ or ‘I love that book’ and it is. I’ll start gushing again, but it’s really, really just fantastic.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Cathy and Heathcliffe got side-lined this week. So I think it might be their turn, once Wild Abandon is finished.
