This wrap-up is slightly belated but it’s here. Hurray. I feel like I’ve been using the ‘I’ve been busy’ excuse a lot recently, and I’m sorry. I won’t use it again. This is the last you’ve heard of it, I promise (until my next post where I apologise for being busy, again). But October has been a great month even if the blogging has been a little irregular.

Reading Summary
This month I’ve read four books. It’s not as many as I would have liked, but I have read a few manuscripts too which technically count!

- Recipes for Love and Murder by Sally Andrews
- Fever by Deon Meyer
- The Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz
Books Bought
I’ve been pretty good this month I have to say!
I left my job in the middle of the month and had a belated birthday present, and that meant I got a few books as gifts which was super lovely.
- Autumn by Ali Smith
- On Writing by Stephen King
- To Esme with Love and Squalor by J D Salinger
Other news
October has been a BIG MONTH for me. I quit my job, I left Liverpool, I moved up to London, I started an internship. I dropped my phone down the toilet (sad, but extremely true). I’ve done a lot of things I wasn’t expecting and that might have meant a quieter reading month, but it’s been busy in all other aspects of my life. I’m not sure I’ll be able to blog as much as I’d like but I’ll definitely try. I’m only hoping that November is as good as this month has been!
Good luck Nicole, I hope it all goes well for you in London. Exciting times. X

The day I’m posting something with the sentence “I moved to London”, you can be sure I won’t be reading the entire month but party all the time. It’s THE dream I have had for ever, to one day move to London.
So now I’ll be sitting here, being jealous as.. the most jealous being ever.. for a couple of minutes.
Okay, no. I’m happy for you!
[She types while still being jealous.] :’D
It’s a miracle I haven’t dropped my phone in the toilet myself, really.. It’s always in my back pocket so I have no clue how that hasn’t happened yet..
